Does Mother Nurture Sleep In Kids Play Tents?

My grandson Hunter was both on March 23rd, 2011.  It was one of the happiest day’s in my daughter’s life and her husband Justin’s life too.  It was also a very proud day for me, my wife Kay and our other 2 grown children, Lisa and Ryan.  Hunter will be baptised on August 21, 2011 and I am so excited to attend that baptism tomorrow.  My youngest daughter Lisa will be the god mother and her fiance (Josh) will be the god father. I know they are honored to have been asked by Jenny.  These are happy days in the life of my grown family and ones that create fond memories that will last forever.  One of the fond memories I have of Hunter after only 5 months of life on this planet is when he participated in his first camping trip with all of us last Memorial Day weekend when he was only 2 months old.  I like to think that was Hunter’s baptism into the world of camping while tomorrow Hunter will be baptized into the world of God. Memorial Day weekend when we all slept in and spend time around our camping tents, it will happen to him tomorrow when he will officially get baptized.

In the future, I look forward to spending more camping weekends with Hunter and playing in kids play tents like the The Maverick from Gigatents.  There are literally thousands of kids play tentsavailable today and I know how much fun it was to build a fort and camp out in a tent when I was young.  I just know Hunter will grow to love the

outdoors and spend time with Mother Nature.

Mother Nature actually dumped a little rain on us during our Memorial Day weekend camping trip last May and while my daughter Jenny is no Mother Nature, she is an awesome Mother Nurture.  She kept little Hunter all bundled up, nice and warm when it got cool and she kept him protected from the skeeters whenever they threatened to bug us.

Do you have a Mother Nurture in your life?  If so, comment here and tell us about it.  I’ll bet there are a lot of Mother Nurtures out there and many that have kids play tents in their home and even more that take their kids camping.
