Tents for kids so toss your kid in a Playchute Parachute

My oldest daughter Jenny gave birth to her first child (McKenna Kaye) on February 16 of this 2010 so as of this posting date, she is now 1 1/2 years old.   At 8 1/2 weeks old, Jenny witnessed McKenna roll over for the first time and she was so excited.  I remember the first time I saw Jenny do that 29 years ago.  It brought back very fond memories including days when Jenny and the rest of our family went

camping.  One of the things we did not have back then that we do today are kids play tents.  And there are lots of them.  They are available in a variety of different sizes and shapes.

One item in particular that is really fun is the Gigatent Adenture Dome and Parachute.  Kids know exactly what to do with the parachute when they get one.  Each kid grabs two handles on the parachute and fling balls into the air and watch them drift down.   Kids take turns running underneath the parachute while others throw wiffle balls onto the top and watch them fly all over.  These are the things normally advertised with this parachute.  But things get really exciting when you put one of the young kids in the parachute and have adults toss the child into the air.  The adults initially are very cautious, safe  and very careful tossing each child into the air but soon learn the limits of each child and find themselves laughing uncontrollably along with the kids.  Every one has a blast and nobody ever gets hurt.

Get a  parachute for your next camping trip and have the fun of your life and watch the kids play like never before.  I can’t wait for the day when McKenna Kaye is old enough to be tossed in a Parachute.  Four more years of waiting is all I have left.

  1. Baylee and Jacob loved playing with the parachute last summer. It can be a fun way to learn colors too for the little ones.
